The Process Drawing Series
This iterative series evolved from the abstract nature series which attempted to create pattern from nature and signified a shift in to me being much more active in the process of creating images using a mixture of material, mark making, photography and cycles of repetition. The resulting images have become removed from their original source and are ephemeral and abstract offering glimpses into imagined spaces.
Rope Process Drawing
This set of images was created from a photograph of abandoned rope on the shorefront in Douglas on the Isle of Man. The main image below was made using a series of iterative processes including mark making and photography.
