Abstracted 35 Series: Set 3 — Small Print with Mount
DESCRIPTION
A print from the Abstracted 35 series, presented in the proportions of a 35mm photographic slide — the format from which the originals were scanned. Each image was made on acetate using acrylic ink, spray starch and acetone; the chemistry was constrained, the outcome left to chance.
Selecting your image
Each image is shown with its title in the gallery above — scroll through to find yours.
The print is mounted and ready to frame. The format is deliberately small — the image asks you to lean in.
What you receive
120×180mm print on Marrutt smooth fine art paper — off-white with a subtle texture.
250×250mm Minuet Off-white mount with a 112×168mm portrait aperture.
Each print is mounted on acid-free backing board, protecting the work from moisture and deterioration over time.
Designed to fit the IKEA SANNAHED 25×25cm frame (£6 from IKEA — sold separately).
Free UK postage on all prints.
About the series
The Abstracted 35 series takes its name from 35mm photographic film. Thirty-five acetate panels, each made through the same constrained process — acrylic ink, spray starch and acetone — every outcome different.
Each image originates as a 24×36mm area of acetate — the same dimensions as a 35mm photographic frame, held within a 50mm square slide mount. At this scale the chemistry is barely visible to the naked eye. Scanned at 4800dpi, the print reveals what's there.
